About

I became interested in print, and design in general, initially as a child browsing through my father’s collection of vinyl records. This led to my love of music and a continued fascination of how that music would be adorned and advertised.

In 2007, I was an intern at Hatch Show Print in Nashville, TN. During my time there, I worked on several presses and experimented with numerous letterpress techniques. I enjoyed the “hands-on” feel and tactile quality that the medium produced. During my tenure at the shop I had the fortune of working on various projects for clients that ranged from the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, Live Nation, Shoney's, Lenz Marketing, and others.

I obtained a BFA in Visual Communications at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2010. During my education I interned with Adult Swim and Philips Design.

I am currently employed as a designer with Scoutmob. At work and in my spare time I hope to always explore the avenues of design and the ideas it can communicate. It is my desire to continue to experiment with the many textures and techniques of printmaking and marry those methods to design whenever possible.

Inspiration often comes from: art; music; film; travel; nostalgia; space exploration; coffee; being 25% Italian (yet still very much a mutt;) Thai food; the city of Chicago; reading Batman and Fables comics.
